at my job, they remind us to ask ourselves if we are dressed to inspire. the concept is that if a customer is inspired by what we are wearing, it will encourage them to shop. but what if we take that a step further? wearing a beautiful and well put-together outfit shows the world that you are confident. it lets people know that you take pride in your appearance. they may use your example as a jumping off point.
to take this one step further, we should not only dress in an inspiring way, we should live in an inspiring way. smiling at someone who may be having a bad day really goes a long way. stopping to give directions to someone who is lost is a huge help. it is the little things that count.
dressing and living an inspiring way will cause a ripple effect.
